UPDATE: The boil water advisory for residents in the Sauquoit Water District has been lifted, but residents should continue to conserve water.

______________________________

Officials with the Sauquoit Water District are asking residents in the district to boil their water before using it, and they’re also asking water customers to conserve water as well.

Officials say there is a well failure and the company that installed it is on its way to make repairs.

Once the well is fixed, they will send out water samples to be tested. The boil water advisory will be in effect until further notice.
