Bank robbery at Adirondack Bank in Sylvan Beach, state police investigating

Just before 1 p.m. Wednesday an individual entered the front entrance to the Adirondack Bank approached the teller counter.

SYLVAN BEACH, N.Y. -- State police are investigating a robbery at the Adirondack Bank in Sylvan Beach.

Just before 1 p.m. Wednesday an individual entered the front entrance to the Adirondack Bank approached the teller counter, and displayed a handwritten note demanding money.

No weapon was displayed or threatened.

The suspect was last seen walking out of the bank down Main Street and making a left onto 8th Avenue.

If anyone recognizes the suspect or has information regarding the bank robbery, you are asked to contact state police at (315) 366-6000.
