Little Falls, N.Y. - The Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs came back from two separate deficits, holding off the Glens Falls Dragons late in order to escape with an 11-10 victory at Veterans Memorial Park, Thursday.

Nick Cimillo had the big hit for the Dawgs, a three-run home run in the bottom of the sixth. Mohawk Valley scored four runs in the sixth and four more in the seventh that proved to be the difference in the ball game.

After falling down by one in the top of the second, the DiamondDawgs scored two runs in the bottom of the third thanks to a 2-RBI single by Jacob Josey.

The Dragons retook the lead in the top of the fourth with a five-run inning before Mohawk Valley chipped away with a run off of a single by CJ Rodriguez in the fifth to make it a 6-3 game.

Glens Falls added another in the top of the sixth before the blast by Cimillo and a solo shot by Luke Turner tied it at 7-7 in the bottom half of the inning.

The DiamondDawgs then took the lead with three walks an one hit-batter in the sixth, and despite a three-run effort from the Dragons in the eighth, the Dawgs hung on for a one-run victory.

The Dawgs return to action at Veterans Memorial Park on Friday where they will take on the Utica Blue Sox in their final meeting of the regular season. First pitch is at 6:45 p.m.
