ROME, N.Y. – The Berkshire Bank on West Dominick Street in Rome will close this spring, and consolidate operations with the location on Black River Boulevard.
“We regularly evaluate our branch network to ensure we are delivering our services in a manner that aligns with our customers’ preferences and expectations,” said Berkshire Bank Senior Vice President Brian Sullivan. “While it is never easy to close one of our locations, we have decided to consolidate our West Dominick Street branch in Rome with our Black River Boulevard branch, which is approximately two miles away, on April 30.”
Sullivan said the ATM on West Dominick Street will remain open even after the bank location closes.
The West Rome branch on Erie Boulevard at Gifford Road will stay open as well.
