Summer-like conditions continue throughout this weekend. The jet
stream stays to our north and a strong south wind drives in some very
warm air. Highs will be in the lower 80s on Sunday and near 80 degrees
on Monday. This is 15 degrees warmer than normal for this time of
Temperatures gradually cool down throughout the week. A cold front
moves through Tuesday bringing rounds cooler air and rounds of rain
showers. Highs in the mid 70s Tuesday, then the mid 60s Wednesday.
Normal highs for the end of September should be in the mid 60s.
Even cooler towards the end of the week. The jet stream dips very far
south bringing cooler air into the region. This will produce scattered
lake effect rain showers. Highs will only be in the lower 60s
Thursday, and upper 50s Friday and Saturday.
