Boil water advisory lifted for Frankfort residents

A boil water advisory for has been lifted after water in the Frankfort area tested negative for contamination.

FRANKFORT, N.Y. – A boil water advisory for has been lifted after water in the Frankfort area tested negative for contamination.

A water main broke on Bleecker Street near Ferguson Road Friday due to flooding, and residents were under a boil water advisory after the Mohawk Valley Water Authority restored the water that afternoon.

Residents from the following areas were under the advisory:

  • Bleecker Street to Ferguson Road
  • Side streets off of Ferguson Road
  • West Frankfort Industrial Business Park
  • Ravena Drive
  • School Lane
  • Banek Road
  • Willow Lane
  • Argyle Road
  • Arcadia Road
  • Arcadia Avenue
  • Industrial Park
  • Towne Road
