Boilermaker 2019 is almost here! The weather this year looks fantastic for runners and spectators. The heat and humidity will not be a big factor in this year's Boilermaker. The majority of the race will be in the 60s with a west wind picking up throughout the morning.
On Saturday, the weather looks to start out dry and remain partly sunny for the kid's run at MVCC. Temperatures look to climb into the upper 60s. The weather Saturday afternoon looks pleasant, with mostly sunny skies and highs in the low 80s. It will feel somewhat humid on Saturday afternoon, with dew points in the low 60s. A cold front rolls through Saturday evening, giving us the chance of a passing shower later in the day. The front brings refreshing air to the region just in time for the big race.
Sunday morning starts out with mostly cloudy skies. These are associated with clouds trailing behind a cold front. The weather does look to clear out during the morning, with decreasing clouds. Temperatures start out in the low 60s as the runners head to the start line. The 8am temperature looks to be 64 degrees - very comfortable for July standards. The humidity stays on the lower side, with dew points in the upper 50s throughout the morning and early afternoon. We consider that to be comfortable levels of humidity around here.
Sunday afternoon looks pleasant, with a breeze and highs in the upper 70s.
