After being diagnosed eleven years ago with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, Manlius Police Sergeant Ken Hatter now needs a bone marrow transplant after the disease became more aggressive. Today, the Oneida County Sheriff's office held a bone marrow drive in Sangertown Mall in New Hartford. The hope of today's drive is to find the perfect bone marrow match.
"We can’t always be there, but if we can do something as little as a drive, then that’s what we're going to do and today we are just trying to find a ten out of ten match for him." said volunteer Cassandra Fusco
