BOONVILLE N.Y.- This weekend would have been the weekend of the Boonville-Oneida County Fair, but despite the Fair's cancellation this year, there is still some fair food available this weekend.
The Boonville-Oneida County Fairgrounds is hosting the Boonville Food Fest.
The event started Thursday, ran through Friday, and ends Saturday August 1st.
It runs from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The Boonville favorite vendor is Dean's Concessions.
There are also new vendors including Cheesemac Factory, and Polish Roadhouse.
Kelly Ulrich, the Office Manager of the Boonville-Oneida County Fair says even though coronavirus cancelled the fair, there is still something to have on what would have been fair weekend.
"It's something for the vendors, these folks work awful hard and to have their income pulled away unfortunately because of the coronavirus, we're happy to do this, we love to see the community come out and we want everybody to wear a mask if possible as well as maintain social distancing for everybody's safety." said Ulrich.
A small percentage of the proceeds from the food sales will be donated to help improve the Boonville-Oneida County Fairgrounds.
