BOONVILLE, N.Y. – The Boonville community has come together to provide support to residents and small business owners affected by Tuesday’s fire on Main Street.
The Boonville United Methodist Church and Adirondack Central School District invited fire victims to take shelter at their facilities while crews spent more than 24 hours battling the blaze.
"All you got to do is drive down Main Street, and that pile of rubble is a reminder that there's still a need out there, so it's left a big scar on the Village of Boonville," said the Rev. Jack Ford, pastor at Boonville United Methodist Church.
