FORESTPORT, N.Y. – An Oneida County man was killed in a crash involving a snowmobile Friday night.
State police say around 10:44 p.m. they were called to Spruce Road in the town of Forestport for a report of a fatal snowmobile crash.
Troopers say 45-year-old William H. Bain IV of Boonville was driving a snowmobile south along Spruce Road when he hit a tree on the east side of the trail.
Bain was thrown from the snowmobile and pronounced dead at the scene.
Additional information regarding the cause of the crash has not been provided.
