UTICA, N.Y. --- Bowling Alleys, like many businesses are in limbo waiting for guidance from Albany on when they can reopen. Adirondack Lanes and Diner owner Fitz Hardiman said he's confused about how phase 4 does not include his business.
"I'm over getting upset because I know they're trying to keep everyone healthy. But it's confusing when the decisions are made day today," said Hardiman.
In Yorkville Vista Lanes owner Tony Lapolla hopes Governor Cuomo makes a decision soon. Lapolla said he's spent money adding new items now required by the state with no income coming in.
He's set up plastic barriers around the counters and plans on sanitizing his entire building prior to opening.
"I'm reading all of the guidelines that the state has provided for us. Social distancing we will have signs when they come in. Staying 6 feet away from the counter," said Lapolla.
