UTICA, N.Y. – Broadway Utica has canceled the rest of The Color Purple tour amid state bans on mass gatherings. This includes the upcoming performances in Utica, which will be postponed to a later date.
“We are devastated by the cancellation of this year production, but fully support the decision as the safety of our patrons will always be our number one priority,” said Danielle Padula, executive director at Broadway Utica.
The Utica shows were scheduled for April 13 and 14 at the Stanley Theatre. The Broadway Utica website says new dates are to be announced.
More information on refunds will be released on: www.broadwayutica.org.
