Orchard Park, N.Y. - For the first time in 25 years the Buffalo Bills win a playoff game.
The Buffalo Bills haven’t won a playoff game since 1995 and haven’t hosted one since 1996.
After nearly a quarter of a century, the Bills advance in the playoffs with a 27-24 win in the Wild Card round over the Indianapolis Colts.
With over 6,700 fans in attendance (fans at Bills stadium for the first time all season due to the pandemic) Josh Allen threw for 324 yards, two touchdowns, and improved to a team-high 8 rushing touchdowns this season.
But it wasn’t the Bills offense that won his game, it was their defense. It came down to a Hail Mary throw by Colts veteran quarterback Philip Rivers into the end zone that would be knocked away by the Bills defense to secure a victory.
Buffalo now awaits their opponent for the divisional round that will be played next Saturday or Sunday at Bills Stadium.
