ONEIDA, N.Y. - Two Camden High School track and field stars brought home a lot of hardware in the Section III Class B-2 Championship meet at Oneida High School, Thursday.
Lizzy Lucason was a quadruple individual sectional champion, while Connor Dean was a triple individual sectional winner.
Lucason placed first in the girls 1500m race with a time of 4:44:267, 400m hurdles with a time of 1:08:22, 3000m race finishing at 11:42:45, and girls 4x400m team relay in which she won along with her teammates Jacey Hinds, McKenzie Aldridge, and Mackenzie Mix.
Dean was the top finisher in the boys 200m race with a time of 23.76, won the high jump with a 5-10, and the long jump with a best distance of 20-9.50.
Overall, the Blue Devils girls team finished third of the 13 schools competing with a final score of 68. The boys placed second of the 13 schools with 86 points.
Both Camden teams were the top finishers in our viewing area.
