CAMDEN, N.Y. – A Camden woman was arrested for a second time this week, after violating a stay-away order that was issued following her first arrest on Tuesday.
Michele Brooks, 48, was charged with menacing and criminal mischief Tuesday, after allegedly threatening someone with a pocket knife on Waldron Road in Camden. She was arraigned and released, and an order of protection was issued for the victim.
On Wednesday, she was arrested again around 2:25 p.m., after she violated the order by returning to the same address on Waldron Road.
She was charged with criminal contempt.
According to Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, she was arraigned and again released on her own recognizance.
