Archibald clears waivers, on his way back to Utica

The Utica Comets have won three games straight now and Monday, some good news for fans following a revolving door between the Comets and Vancouver Canucks.

UTICA, N.Y. -- The Utica Comets have won three games straight now and Monday, some good news for fans following a revolving door between the Comets and Vancouver Canucks, as players get called up and reassigned.

While the Comets saw leading scorer Reid Boucher recalled by their parent club last week — Darren Archibald is on his way back to Utica.

The Vancouver Canucks announced that they have placed Archie on waivers, and has officially cleared waivers, so he is indeed on his way to Utica.

Archibald recorded two points in nine games for the Canucks this season, filling in as a depth forward since being recalled on October 30.
