ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - In New York government news, Senate Republicans aim to prove Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo wrong by getting things done in the final weeks of the legislative session.
Cuomo has said he doesn't expect lawmakers to accomplish much of consequence before adjourning in June. But Republican Senate Leader John Flanagan says Republicans are passing bills to cut taxes and strengthen penalties for drug dealers.
