Car Catches on Fire Overnight in Utica

UTICA, NY--

Utica fire crews were busy battling a blazing car fire overnight.

Utica Police and Fire had a portion of Bleecker Street shut down just after 1:00 this morning while crews battled intense flames and smoke that covered a large area at 1724 Bleecker Street. The car was completely engulfed in flames, but crews were able to put it out within twenty minutes. There were no injuries. 

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
