Rome police continue to investigate numerous larcenies from unlocked vehicles

Rome police continue to investigate numerous larcenies from unlocked vehicles. Police say the thefts have occured mostly overnight in the eastern and nothern sections of the city.

Police Chief Kevin Beach wants to remind people to lock their vehciles when not attended and remove all valuable items, or at least keep them out of view. The chief says it is believed that several individuals are working together during these crimes.

Residents are encouraged to call 911 if they observe any suspicious activity.
