SULLIVAN, N.Y. -- A Chittenango man has been arrested for allegedly stealing someone’s rifle.
State police say 53-year-old Robert Parrow entered a building in the town of Sullivan on December 4 and stole a .22 caliber rifle.
Police say prior to this incident, Parrow had been convicted of numerous felony offenses making it illegal for him to possess a firearm.
Police say a search warrant was executed at his apartment which resulted in the recovery of the stolen rifle.
Parrow is charged with burglary, grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property and criminal possession of a weapon.
He is in the Madison County Jail being held without bail until his next court date.
