UTICA N.Y.- There are several Christmas Masses occurring over the next couple days (and weeks) at local churches.
One Church holding Masses is Historic Old St. John’s Church on Bleecker Street in Utica.
One of the Masses on Christmas Eve was the Family-Friendly Mass with Children’s Refection. A packed house filled the church, drawing people from all over.
Michelle Ward from Sauquoit comes to Mass on Christmas Eve every year.
"I enjoy the community that is created here, the service and the ministry that we provide to the City of Utica and neighboring communities. said Ward. “The children's mass, to see the involvement of the kids and the youth coming up through, the church community is really enjoyable."
If you weren’t able to make the Christmas Eve Family-Friendly Mass don’t worry, there is another one Tuesday night at 11:00.
