UTICA- The holiday season kicked off early in Utica and the Mohawk Valley on Saturday, as Christmas on Main Street returned to Union Station.
Christmas on Main Street has been a draw for 33 years. There was plenty of food, entertainment and fun including clowns and wagon rides.
Residents also had the chance to get some early Christmas Shopping done at the Holiday Craft Fair.
Santa and Mrs. Claus were also there taking pictures with children.
Organizers say the event is a big hit! "It's become a perennial favorite for families. People who came down here as children are now coming down here with their children," said Gene Allen, with Christmas on Main Street.
Santa and Mrs. Claus lit the Christmas tree.
