UTICA, N.Y. -- The man accused of killing a 17-year-old girl in Utica on Boilermaker Sunday has been indicted.
According to Oneida County District Attorney Scott McNamara, Brandon Clark has been formally charged with second-degree murder for the intentional killing of Bianca Devins.
The DA’s office will be prosecuting the case to the fullest extent of the law, and will not be offering Clark any plea deal.
Clark, 21 of Cicero, allegedly stabbed Devins to death on Poe Street in Utica after attending a concert in New York City on the night of July 13.
Devins had just graduated from Proctor High School in June.
The felony hearing originally scheduled for Clark on Thursday will no longer happen as the indicted supersedes that court date. He is due back in court for an arraignment on Monday.
