For the third year in a row, Colgate Men's Basketball Head Coach, Matt Langel, has been named Coach of the Year for the Patriot League making him the first coach in the league's history to win the award three straight times.
In just his ninth season in the program, Langel has led the Raiders to a program record 23 regular season wins and 14 conference wins just one year after coaching them to their first Patriot League title (2019) since 1996. Colgate has also earned the top seed in the conference for the second year in a row.
Colgate women's basketball assistant coach Katie Curtis says, "The Patriot League is a really competitive league in general so having accomplished this three years in a row is kind've a big deal and speaks a lot to his coaching ability for sure."
Senior Forward, Will Rayman, earns another individual accolade winning Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year and has become the program's second all-time leading scorer passing Adonal Foyle with 1,799 points. Rayman leads the league in rebound with 9 per game and has recorded a league-high 10 double-doubles.
Junior Guard, Jordan Burns, joins Rayman on Patriot League first-team and is the only non-senior to be selected. Burns is averaging 15.6 points per game and a third in the league with 4.5 assists per game.
Rapolas Ivanauskas has been named to Patriot League second-team.
