Syracuse, N.Y. - It was a night to forget for the Utica Comets as they were blown out by rival Syracuse Crunch, 10-1, in game three of the Galaxy Cup series at the Onondaga County War Memorial, Friday.

Taylor Raddysh had five assists on the night for the Crunch as eight different players notched goals in the win.

Nolan Valleau, Carter Verhaeghe and Cal Foote all scored in the first period to take a 3-0 lead into the locker room.

Troy Bourke and Verhaeghe's second of the night made it 5-0 in the middle frame, before Vincent Arseneau's first of the year put the Comets on the board. Thatcher Demko entered the game in favor of the struggling Kulbakov following the Crunch's fifth goal.

Former Comet, Cory Conacher scored a short-handed goal late in the second and the Comets headed into intermission with a 6-1 deficit.

The third wasn't any better. Kulbakov returned to the net to start the stanza, but gave up another four goals as the Crunch took the lead in the Galaxy Cup series 2-1.

Utica returns home for its final game of 2018 in another North Division tilt on Saturday night against the Rochester Americans. Pucks drop is at 7 p.m.
