About two and a half minutes left in the first period, the Comets in a power play, Mitch Eliot from the point sends one to the back of the net to score. That was his second goal of the season.
A little over 11 minutes into the second period, Comets in a power play again off of a slashing penalty from Alexander Volkov, Reid Boucher sneaks one in to score and give the Comets a 2-0 lead.
Michael DiPietro tallied 23 saves off of 24 shots in goal.
Crunch's Danick Martel would score in the second period to cut the Comet's lead in half, but Defenseman Dylan Blujus would score early in the third and Sven Baertschi would seal the deal with an empty-netter late in the third period.
Comets win 4-1. They hit the road to Toronto for their next game on Saturday, November 30 against the Marlies. Puck drop is at 1:30 p.m.
