Community blood drive to honor fallen Oneonta firefighter, John Heller

The blood drive will run from 10 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. today in the Oneonta Job Corps gym.

ONEONTA, N.Y. -- The Oneonta Job Corps is hosting a community blood drive to honor fatal-fire victim John Heller.

The former firefighter and life-skill supervisor was killed in the Walling Street arson last December.

The blood drive will run from 10 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. today (Tuesday) in the Oneonta Job Corps gym, with the dedication of the John Heller memorial on the third floor octagon at 2 p.m.
