Starting this Tuesday, high temperatures will be in the 40s for the rest
of the week. This cooler weather continues into the start of the weekend.
Eventually it will warm back up into the 50s by Sunday. Keep in mind, normal
high temperatures are in the mid 50s and low temperatures are in the mid 30s
for mid April in Utica.
Tuesday afternoon, highs will reach the upper 40s with partly sunny skies.
Cloud cover will move in early Tuesday evening and temperatures will dip into
the upper 30s. Overnight, a few flurries pass through with no accumulation
expected. Low temperatures sink into the mid 20s! This is about 10 degrees
cooler than normal for mid April in Utica.
Wednesday is a little cooler. Starting the morning in the 20s with partly
sunny skies. By the afternoon, highs stay in the mid 40s. There is the chance
for a few flurries during the second half of the day, but no accumulation is
expected. Wednesday night, lows drop into the upper 20s as the snow ends.
Thursday is the coolest day of the week. Temperatures will be in the upper 20s
in the morning. During the afternoon, highs will only reach the lower 40s with
partly sunny skies. This is more than 10 degrees cooler than normal for mid April
in Utica. Thursday night, lows will reach about 30 degrees.
We will gradually start to warm up as head into the weekend. Friday, highs
reach the mid 40s with a mix of rain and snow. Saturday, highs will be in the
upper 40s with mostly sunny skies. Then on Sunday, we finally warm back up to
normal temperatures with highs in the lower to mid 50s.
