A record warm October, so far, will be changing in a big way as we head into the remainder of the month. For the 12th day of the month, temperatures have climbed into the 70s. This is incredbile to think about...more days have been in the 70s than below 70...in OCTOBER. We're typically in the 50s this time of year.
Reality will return as we head into tonight, as a cold front moves through the region. A few thunderstorms are possible overnight, too, especially between midnight - 2 am. No flooding issues are expected, as the front is moving quickly enough not to cause significant rainfall.
Friday morning starts out breezy and cool, with temperatures in the mid 50s. Temperatures look to fall throughout the day, into the upper 40s by Friday evening. Cloudy skies look to stay, with a few lake effect rain showers west of Utica. The cool weather lingers into the weekend, with highs on Saturday and Sunday in the low 50s. Overnight lows look to drop into the mid 30s, with frost chances by early next week.
