COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. -- The Cooperstown Bat Company opened back in 1981, but it was just last year when a bat, made in their factory – made history.
Tim Haney owns the company, and he started working there in 1993 before taking it over in 2008.
Haney says they have major and minor leaguers ordering bats.
And last year, Red Sox catcher Christian Vazquez, who has used Cooperstown Bat Company bats for two years, used the bat in the World Series, which was then donated to the Hall of Fame.
If you get the chance to tour the bat factory, and of course their shop, on Main Street – WKTV's Jason Powles says it's a must.
