Coronavirus by county numbers for Saturday, June 27

Oneida County saw 27 new positive tested cases of Covid-19 in the past 24 hours. Herkimer County had six positive tests. Otsego County had none.

Oneida County representatives say there were 24 new positive tested cases of Coronavirus from Friday to Saturday. Just one of those cases was a nursing home resident. This compares to 37 new cases the day prior. 

Here's a look at the county's breakdown: 

• 24 new positive cases (1 nursing home resident) 1,493 total.
• No new COVID-19-related deaths, 90 total.
• 14 patients are hospitalized in Oneida County.

• 2 are admitted outside of Oneida County.
• 6 hospitalized patients are from nursing homes.

• 272 active positive cases
• 1,131 positive cases have been resolved.
• 43,861 total negative results.
• 45,354 total tests have been conducted.
• 295 under mandatory quarantine
• 138 under precautionary quarantine
• 12,385 total have been discharged from mandatory and precautionary quarantine.

In Herkimer County, representatives tell us there were six new positive tested cases as of Saturday afternoon. There are 168 total positive tested cases in Herkimer County as of March 13, 2020. 

Currently there are 28 active positive Covid-19 patients in the county. One person is hospitalized. 136 patients have recoved. Four people have died in Herkimer County from Covid-19. More than 11,000 negative tests have been returned. 51 people are under mandatory quarantine. 40 people are under precautionary quarantine. 

Otsego County has no new cases. There are two active cases in Otsego County. The county has seen a total of 76 cases.
