ROME, N.Y. – Rome police have arrested a woman who was allegedly driving drunk when she hit two people on bicycles, killing one, on Black River Boulevard Thursday night.
Greish M. Ortega-Lebron, 21, has been charged with aggravated vehicular homicide, operating a motor vehicle with BAC of .08% or greater and driving while intoxicated.
Police say 20-year-old Jasmine Finch was pronounced dead at the scene, while 33-year-old Travis Carpenter sustained injuries and was airlifted to University Hospital, where he is currently in stable condition.
Ortega-Lebron is out for arraignment at Central Arraignment Processing.
