UTICA, N.Y. – A movie will be filmed in Utica this summer, and three local kids may get a chance to star as younger versions of the main characters.
The name of the independent film has not been released, but Utica Media Commissioner Paul Buckley confirms the crew is looking to cast three children, and use three homes as locations in the movie.
Producers are looking to cast two boys between the ages of 6 and 9, and a young girl around 12 to 14, as well as many extras.
Filming is set to begin on July 1 and be done by July 22.
Anyone interested can email head shots or photos of their home to Gabriel Kahane at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
