DOLGEVILLE, N.Y. -- A fire completely destroyed a barn in Dolgeville late Thursday night. Officials with Herkimer County Fire Dispatch say no fatalities or injuries were reported.

The fire started a little before 11 p.m. Thursday night along Thompson Road, in Dolgeville. This happened in Salisbury's fire district.

Fire officials say it was a hay barn, and no animals were in the structure before it caught fire.

Viewer Andy McEvoy sent NEWSChannel 2 pictures of the fire. He says water tankers from Dolgeville and Middleville were called in to help fight the fire.

The cause remains under investigation.
