UPDATE (5:45 p.m.): State Police have released the names of the three victims who died in a one-vehicle crash on the Thruway Wednesday morning. They are:
Maria Braga, 81, of Fall River, Massachussetts
David Botelho, 73, of Westport, Mass.
Isabel Botelho, 72, of Westport, Mass.

Troopers say the driver of the vehicle, 81-year-old Joao Braga of Fall River, was flown to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse for treatment of his injuries. Police say Braga lost control of his vehicle, which rolled over near mile marker 256 between the Verona and Cannastota exits.
Troopers say their investigation is continuing.
UPDATE (4:40 p.m.): State Police confirmed that three people were killed in the one-car crash on the Thruway in Verona this morning. Their identities have not yet been released.
No other information was immediately available.
UPDATE (12:30 p.m.): Emergency crews remain on scene of a serious one-car accident on the Thruway westbound in the town of Verona, near the parking area between Exit 33 and Exit 34.
A vehicle is currently on its side near the right-hand lane heading to the parking area, and around 12:30 p.m. authorities were seen draping a tarp over the vehicle. Police say two Mercy Flight helicopters were called to the scene, and one landed on the Thruway while the other was called off.
Traffic is currently flowing in the left-hand passing lane of the Thruway in that area, but it is backed up.
There is no word yet on how many people were in the vehicle, or the extent of their injuries.

UPDATE: All westbound lanes on the Thruway are closed between Exit 33 in Verona and Exit 34 in Canastota due to a crash that occurred around 10:30 a.m., according to state Department of Transportation officials.
VERONA – Emergency crews are responding to a one-car crash westbound on the New York State Thruway near Verona, according to New York State Police.
The accident between Exit 33 and Exit 34 was first reported at 10:32 a.m., according to the Oneida County 911 Center.
A helicopter from Mercy Flight has been called, and Vineall Ambulance and the Verona Fire Department have also been dispatched to the scene.
Police say westbound traffic on the Thruway is currently backed up near the truck stop at mile marker 256.
