UTICA, N.Y. – Jason D’Avolio, the Rome man accused of shooting his wife and putting her body in a dumpster, was in Oneida County Court on Wednesday.
D’Avolio was supposed to accept or reject a plea offer in the murder of Kerrilee D'avolio, but his attorney has requested more time for consideration. The details of the offer were not disclosed in court.
D'Avolio has pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder and concealment of a human corpse.
The judge adjourned the proceedings until Oct. 16.
