WATSON, N.Y. -- A Good Samaritans' actions to help out a St. Lawrence County man in need, went all wrong.
Andrew Johnson, 55, of Heuvelton is now charged with DWI in what led to a multi-vehicle accident in Lewis County. The accident happened around 7:30 Monday night, on Snell Road in the town of Watson.
Johnson overturned his vehicle at the Olmstead Road intersection. Three other vehicles stopped to help him out. That's when a tractor-trailer collided into those stopped vehicles.
Fortunately, only minor injuries reported for two juveniles in one of the stopped cars.
They were taken to the hospital.
Johnson is charged with DWI, aggravated DWI, imprudent speed, failure to keep right, and having improper license plates.
