Davis, Armstrong lead undefeated Oriskany over Waterville; Poland softball uses nine-run inning to slide past Morrisville-Eaton

Oriskany had a seven-run fifth inning following a four-run fourth as they beat Waterville 13-4 at Delutis Field in Rome to improve to 14-0 on the season, Wednesday.

Steve Armstrong went 2-for-3 with two RBI's on the day, while Colton Davis drove in three runs, going 1-for-3.

Armstrong also went four innings on the mound where he gave up two runs, four hits, a walk and struck out four.

In Poland, the Tornadoes softball team exploded for nine runs in the bottom of the third to help propel them 17-7 over Morrisville-Eaton to remain unbeaten in the Center State Conference.

Keara Blumenstock got the win on the mound for Poland.
