UTICA, N.Y. – The man accused of murdering his grandmother and elderly landlord in Utica in 2019 appeared in court Monday, where his case was again adjourned as attorneys review medical evaluations.
Naythen Aubain’s last court appearance in mid-November was adjourned after the prosecution asked for more time to review and report on Aubain’s psychiatric evalution.
On Monday, the defense also asked for more time to review the evaluation, and the request was granted by the judge.
The next court date is scheduled for Jan. 5, 2021.
