We're nearing the end of a very wet spring here in CNY. The month of May turns out to be the 4th wettest on record, with more than 8" of rain for the month. This is twice the monthly average.
The weekend features, shockingly, more rain. Saturday starts out nice, with a mix of sunshine and clouds. Temperatures look to climb into the mid 70s by the afternoon! Watch out later in the day - thunderstorms are expected to return. A few of these could produce gusty winds.
We'll get a chance to dry out Saturday night and early Sunday. The next round of rain looks to come from a strong cold front. This arrives in the middle of Sunday afternoon, producing gusty winds and a brief downpour. The weather turns much cooler Sunday evening.
Much cooler weather looks to return on Monday and Tuesday, with highs only near 60. The weather will warm up as we head into the middle of next week, with highs back in the 70s!
