Dolgeville woman arrested in alleged welfare fraud scheme

She allegedly received nearly $7,500 worth of welfare benefits that she wasn't entitled to.

DOLGEVILLE, NY -- A Dolgeville woman is facing several welfare fraud charges for allegedly receiving nearly $7,500 worth of welfare benefits that she wasn't entitled to.

37-year-old Karen Youker, of Dolgeville, was arrested for grand larceny, welfare fraud, and offering a false instrument for filing.

Youker is set to appear in the Village of Herkimer court at a later date.
