Tomorrow is the deadline for the DRI proposals or the state's Downtown Revitalization Initiative.
The state granted Utica $10 million to help revitalize its downtown just a few months ago.
Now it's time to figure out which projects will receive that money.
The city of Utica is extending the submission deadline for Downtown Revitalization Initiative project proposals to January 13th.
Utica is one of 10 communities across the state to be awarded $10 million in funding to develop and revive downtown areas.
A planning committee was assembled to review proposals and determine which projects will receive funds.
Eligible projects should focus on the development or rehabilitation of downtown buildings, marketing to investors and tourists, or improving existing infrastructure.
