UTICA, N.Y. – Dunkin’ raised $113,000 for Make-A-Wish Central New York this year through annual start donut sales, the most ever raised in a single season of the campaign.
The funds were raised through customer donations at participating locations from June 19 – 28.
“The amount of money on that check $113,000 just gives me the goosebumps and overwhelms me, because we have so many Wish kids waiting for their wishes throughout our 15 counties. Right now, there's more than 190 medically eligible kids waiting for wishes, and of course when the pandemic started everything came to a screeching halt,” Diane Kuppermann, presidents of the Central New York chapter of Make-A-Wish.
The campaign started in 2013, and has raised more than $560,000 for local chapters of the Make-A-Wish Foundation since its first campaign.
