Early morning fire destroys Constableville home

An early morning fire in the town of Constableville has destroyed a home and has left a family homeless.

CONSTABLEVILLE, NY-- An early morning fire in the town of Constableville has destroyed a home and has left a family homeless. 

The fire broke out around 12:30 a.m. Thursday at 6355 BJ Mackay Rd. in Constableville. 

The owner of the home arrived to find smoke and alarms going off and was able to get everyone out safe. Several fire departments assisted at the scene, but despite their efforts, the home was a total loss. 

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation. 

The family is being assisted by The American Red Cross.
