UTICA, N.Y. -- Utica fire crews worked overnight and into the morning hours fighting a fire at D & D Auto Body. The initial call came in just after 12:30 a.m.
When firefighters arrived at the 764 Rutger Street shop they found heavy smoke coming from all sides of the building.
Extra fire crews were brought in to assist. It took fire crews two hours to have the fire under control.
Utica Fire Deputy Chief Scott Ingersoll said, the body shop suffered smoke and fire damage throughout the building.
No injuries were reported in the fire.
Authorities say the body shop is still salvageable.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
