NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. – Estate planning attorney, Drew Ward, says the coronavirus pandemic has many thinking about mortality, and he’s been teleconferencing with his clients who are looking to make plans for the future.
Ward says some of his clients having growing concerns about going to nursing homes or assisted living facilities after the coronavirus has left many of those residents isolated.
“Nursing homes are one of those areas that are hit disproportionately by the virus, and it's more dangerous in a lot of cases for those people who are in frail condition. Luckily, for a lot of our patients, a lot of our clients, you have homecare options, where they can actually have care coming to them on their own home,” said Ward.
The Ward Arcuri Law Firm specializes in estate and Medicaid planning, real estate law, employment law and corporate law.
