Joanne Johnson from the Herkimer County Humane Society joined NewsTalk Monday evening with a FURever Friend named Leo.
Leo is what the Humane Society calls a “pocket pitty,” meaning he’s a smaller pit bull mix. He’s now full grown at a year-and-a-half old.

Johnson says Leo is a very sweet dog who loves people, and he’s a cuddler. However, he is not good with cats.
Leo is currently available for adoption at the Herkimer County Humane Society. Applications can be filled out in person at 514 State Rt. 5S in Mohawk.
If you’re interested in adopting Leo, or another pet at the Herkimer County Humane Society, you can call 315-866-3255 for more information.
