UTICA, N.Y. – The F.X. Matt Brewery in Utica has completed a nearly $35 million expansion, that will allow the company to double its production, and create new jobs locally.
The expansion includes a new brewhouse and tank farm, which will allow for 10 -12 brews per day, and also add fermenting capacity.
“Our business diversification strategy, along with investments in the brewery, have resulted in tremendous growth in our business,” said Fred Matt, president of F.X. Matt Brewery. “In the last two years, we have added significantly to our capabilities, and are now producing a wide range of beverages, including distilled spirits, wine, energy drinks, and ‘good for you’ beverages, in addition to beer and soft drinks.”
With the growth of the brewery’s capabilities comes the need for more workers.
There are current positions available in administration, production and maintenance.
