UTICA -- Dozens of people came out to celebrate the fall season at the Falling for Utica Festival Sunday.
The festival took place at Handshake City in Utica's Bagg's Square. There were local vendors selling food and crafts, and live music from the band "our common roots"
There were also activities for kids like pumpkin painting and cornhole.
"It's basically just a way to get people out here on this beautiful fall day, and hanging out in Downtown Utica," said co-founder Katie Reilly. "Everybody loves to celebrate fall in Upstate New York so, this is the first time we did this fall festival and it's a pretty good turn out so far.
Reilly says there are more events planned at Handshake City in the future.
